I do not intend to dignify that with comment.

They must cost absolutely nothing.   Why else would we keep them around?   They're terrible at what they do, they have no name recognition, they've got such distinctive voices that 15 years later we still can't tell them apart and, oh yeah, they're not Astros fans.

I think that the umpire  is squeezing the pitchers a bit, but admittedly I am sympathetic to pitchers. Molina L8 to track; Greene line drive HR on 3-1 pitch; Jay works count full before BB to 2B; Lohse K; Punto works count full before 1B; Freese works count full before Ks. 2-0 Bottom 5 Happ at over 100 pitches

They were telling the story of Game 6 during the Mets series.  I swear to God, I nearly fell asleep in the car.  It takes a special lack of talent to make Game 6 boring.

See, this is what I've been trying to tell you. Get drunk in the Fan, not in downtown. You'll be way better off and your chances of survival increase dramatically.

Also recommended is the district of Shockoe Bottom.

Does anyone else think it's fucking weird that there are multiple posters here who have spent not-insignificant time in Richmond, Virginia?

How odd.

Berkman is the best corner OF in this game.

Anyone on MLBTV, how is it streaming?  I am getting cut off every 2 -3 minutes (maybe I should be thankful?).

Was getting cut off the first inning or so, but its been fine since (or at least the last couple... or every time the damn Jakes have scored anyway...).

Surely, if he can't recover at all, Lee will retire after this year, and the last year of his contract renegotiated.

The same guy who keeps refusing trades?  I'd be shocked.

I don't agree. I don't see him just leaving $15MM on the table.

You know, Carlos used to live right down the way from me but a year and a half ago or so he completed a house another two hours away. He doesn't even live off the main highway anymore, he lives off the road going to Chitré.

So in other words while I'd be happy to go have a chat with him over the ASB (assuming he's not al All Star) it will be more inconvenient than it might have been in years past.

How often does it happen that the light hitting speedy outfielder playing second makes a great a defensive play in the top of the inning, only to smoke a ball in the bottom of the inning?

Is there anyone in the world who DIDN'T know Pence would strike out on a slider 12 feet off the plate?  Hmmm?  Anyone?
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

So hunter missed two mistakes on the inner half because (it looked like) he was cheating on the outside pitch, and he still can't lay off/foul off an outside slider?  Bless
