Minor League Game / Performance Recaps
« on: April 13, 2011, 11:44:56 am »
One of my favorite blogs, 'Cats Corner, has begun an "Up on the Farm" series where it "will highlight the results of Houston Astros affiliates from the High A division through Class-AAA..and keep you updated on former ‘Cats progress throughout the season." LINK

If you're interested, Astros County usually recaps Astros MiLB performances (Eddie's Farm LINK), as does Subber10 at the Crawfish Boxes.
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Is this the same guy from last year?  I thought he got fired from the Tri-Cities org.

At any rate, I really liked his info last year, but I seriously have to question a notable performance section on Lancaster with no mention of 11 Ks in 5 IP.  We may not see anything like that again all year at any level.

I think they're only focusing on former 'Cats. Cisnero jumped from Greeneville to Lexington.

The Assistant GM (Vic Christopher) was let go, not the 'Cats Corner guys.  I think both of the writers were/are college guys.  One of them is a student at Princeton (Kevin Whitaker).  I don't recall the specifics about the other guy (Evan Valenti).  I wasn't sure either would be back, but it appears they've got someone manning the post...

ETA: Whitaker will be back at 'Cats Corner this summer.

That'd make sense...
