Hardly Researched Astro Update

Click here at your own risk for the HardballTalk HardlyballBS "research" on the 2011 Astros.  One guy on their depth chart signed weeks ago with another organization.  What a waste of time.

Cross him off, then.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Woozily, Jack Sutherford cast a glazed but still almost focused eye upward. "NBC," he thought.

He chewed another full bite of Raisin Bran in his mouth and relished the taste. It tasted good, reminding him of fresh mornings at school, teaching his students more knowledge, knowledge that would help to serve them well in the arena of life.

"NBC. I wonder if they would be openly receptive to someone with the experience and training in English who is also a baseball fan. Who would seek to augment his state-paid paycheck that he got from teaching High School English to students. I wonder...?" he thought.

Inspired work there Mr. Brand!

A skillfully crafted Jack Sutherford episode is always welcome.
