I believe this like I believe that the sun will come up tomorrow, but I've got to give credit where it is due - their names are on a plaque in that building, and mine never, ever will be.
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.

Unless it's in the security booth next to the words "Do Not Admit".

Ever hear of graffiti? There are ways of getting your name on the wall of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

I heard that Alkie scrawled his name (and phone number) on the wall (in the bathroom).

I would no more defile the walls of that building than I would etch my name in the wall of a cathedral.

Yeah.  Right.

To paraphrase one of the comments:  Next you'll be telling me there is no "Rule V Draft".
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

It is hallowed ground. I love it there.

I know a guy that used to go into women's restrooms in bars and sharpie "His Name is a slut," hoping he'd develop a reputation within the nubile community. I think it worked.

Did it say: "Alkie. was. Here."?
