ALCS game 5
« on: October 20, 2010, 03:48:34 pm »
Bottom 2, NYY 3, TEX 0.  Berkman is starting 1B, batting 6, and has a walk and a run scored against the LHP CJ Wilson.  Sabbathia pitching for Yankmees.
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

run #3 was Bad News Bears-esque.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

It was also the most excitement Ernie Johnson has shown on any play this series.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

...and Moreland singles right behind him before Andrus ks.  1 on, 1 out.  Young up.

Two men on, one out, Hamilton up.  Chances of survival... slim.  Okay, let's go!

Berkman with the RBI sac fly (not huge, but certainly of significance).

6-1 Janks.
