Sporadic is a genius

Since his 10-second internet golf lesson, I've shaved approximately 15 strokes off my game.  Consistently.  Shot in the 80's today for the first time in a very long time.  Who knew the key to golf was not to try to hit the ball.

I've always liked that swing thought.  The challenge is sticking to it.  Everything about the game drives you to be ball-focused.

It's hard for me personally too from all the years of hitting a baseball, where you're taught to focus on the ball and see the ball hit the bat.  But once I started focusing on hitting a spot, rather than the ball, it seems a lot of things clicked into place.

See also: putting over a spot 6-8" on your target line rather than putting the ball
