Man, Wallace should have deposited that ball in the lake.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

Taking advantage of the crowd already there to see the Keystone Kops?

I didn't tune in to the game until the middle of the 4th, so missed then scrubs Keystone Kops impersonation.

I wasn't thrilled about the character issues but I believe in the power of redemption. Myers seems to be on the right track. And a hell of a pitcher.

From what little I have gathered about the way you travel from reading on here, it is highly foreign to me but very respected.  That voyage or traveling by train sound far preferable than leaving early in the morning or late at night on a plane to maximize time at a vacation destination while minimizing time away from the office.  Hopefully, one day, I'll be in a position to do the same.

That would be illegal.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

50 miles off the coast it is legal isn't it?

Only if you purchased the cigar prior to 1963.  It is illegal for an American to purchase or consume any product manufactured in Cuba after 1963.  Anywhere in the world.

Cuban Assets Control Regulation

The question is often asked whether United States citizens
or permanent resident aliens of the United States may
legally purchase Cuban origin goods, including tobacco and
alcohol products, in a third country for personal use
outside the United States. The answer is no. The
Regulations prohibit persons subject to the jurisdiction of
the United States from purchasing, transporting, importing,
or otherwise dealing in or engaging in any transactions
with respect to any merchandise outside the United States
if such merchandise (1) is of Cuban origin; or (2) is or
has been located in or transported from or through Cuba; or
(3) is made or derived in whole or in part of any article
which is the growth, produce or manufacture of Cuba. Thus,
in the case of cigars, the prohibition extends to cigars
manufactured in Cuba and sold in a third country and to
cigars manufactured in a third country from tobacco grown
in Cuba.

That's supposed to be the shit...squared.  En...fucking...joy because (1) it's class all the way, and (2) they have iceberg detectors now.

Isn't that the name of the U-Boat Captain who sunk the Lucitania?

This whole thread is Exhibit #1 as to why you should read the GZ...and I haven't even read it all yet.  Hopefully, no one says anything bad about me.

The EuroStar is a great way to travel, for all the reasons you cite.

and your point? i have a hookup, obtained by my wife, who sends from Nova Scotia. want some?

The QM2 is a British registered vessel, I believe, so they will likely have Cuban cigars for sale on board.

Thus,
in the case of cigars, the prohibition extends to cigars
manufactured in Cuba and sold in a third country and to
cigars manufactured in a third country from tobacco grown
in Cuba.

OFAC works the same way.  You can't skirt the embargo as a US Citizen (you) or a Permanent Resident (me) simply by basing yourself outside the US.  The law applies to us all as individuals, regardless of location.

I agree with this;  when people talk about going to Ireland or wherever they'll say "oh Killarney is too touristy"...well, no shit, you're a fucking tourist...

They do.  Just as long as a foreign port is the next stop after leaving an American port, they are for sale.

To Jim, Southampton is a foreign port.
