Bourn reached on a bad call by the first base up, then was promptly thrown out at 2nd on an attempted steal.  Meanwhile, Carpenter has only needed 20 pitches to get through 3 innings.

Actually, there was a 2-out walk in there.  Wandy working hard.

Bourn with a HARD grounder to Schumacher who can't come up with it and it skips into right for an E-4.

I thought there was a walk in there but I looked up to see them coming off the field and didn't see a runner. Duh.

Sanchez hangs tough and singles up the middle, SBB to second. Spaz up.

Line drive in the RCF gap, or 6-4-3 dp?

Sinatra or Mathis? Presley.

Pence jacks one over Rasmus' head and behind Tal's pole for a 2-run triple!

That looked unlike the Carlos we've been seeing for the last few weeks. Looked like he tried to pull that third strike when he would ordinarily take it to right.

But CJ picks him up!

CJ lines one just over a drawn-in Schumacher and it's 3-0.

Wallace plunked on the knee by Carpenter. Ow.

HH and white wine? Omg. Is he wearing a pink tu-tu as he sips it?

I'm sitting in my boxers, smoking a La Escepcion, sipping white wine.  That mental image should make you think twice about razzing me again.

Schumacher grounds to Wandy who gets the runner at second but can't make the dp; next pitch is also tapped to the mound and that ends the top of the 7th, still 3-0 Good Guys.

It took a perfect throw.  That happens sometimes when you're aggressive.  I'd hate it if they were never thrown out trying to take an extra base.

Oh, I agree with the aggressiveness, especially when you're up and I'm not faulting the gamble. From the TV perspective you could see it wasn't going to work as soon as Jay got the ball; he can throw and he's accurate too. Castro was chugging.

I sure would like to see that high strike called more consistently. That's a good pitch, and it's unfair to the pitchers to take it away from them. That seems a lot better than strikes 4 inches off the plate.

Becker makes some damn good wines.

Damn right they do, but I find their chardonnay a bit sweet for my personal tastes.  One of the things that I enjoy about their port is that it's unusually unsweet for the genre.

I'm big fan of all of Becker's cabernets and the claret.  The Iconoclast cab was my house wine for many years.

The Iconoclast is fantabulous.  Their claret is excellent too.  I don't find the Chard too sweet, but I suppose that's personal preference.  It's a good summer night wine.

It's a terrific winery.  My parents have lived in F-burg for the last 15 years or so, and Becker's wines are always on the table at their house.  My sister got married at the winery.  All their wines are good.

I assume me refusing to stand was for the last out.  It is a superstitous thing.  But I couldn't see at all and ended up standing for the last two pitches.

Good for you!  It offset some premature celebration in the GZ.

Was there a promotion last night?  29k fans for a Tues. night game isn't a bad showing considering the standings.

I do not think so.  There are usually a lot of Cards fans when they are in town.

And I watched the replay of the game, and Limey was shown in the 9th inning also.  But, I only saw myself once.

I had good seats the last two nights.  All free.  On Kiss Cam, on TV, 2 shitouts.  Good times.

Early on, Wandy's pitch count vs. Carpenter's was looking sick, but he sorted himself out and went 7.  Can Byrdak be used to expand Round Rock's roster?  I hate it when he comes in.  Lopez is a maniac.  Pooholes is nearly the same height as Bourn, but isn't hitting as well even though he remains a cocksucker.

Right.  Pujols is only second in the league in average, second in RBIs and first in HRs.

Somebody staple Omar Infante to the bench to keep the Triple Crown race interesting.

I meant this series.  Not the cocksucker thing - that's 24/7 - but the hitting thing.
