Beaker hit a solo shot in the 2nd.

Reds 0 - Astros 1, Top 3rd, 1 out.
Don't think twice, it's alright.

Damn. Hell of a play by Gomes to rob Castro.

Cant see the game but Wandy's stats line is impressive

Bourn's just not seeing the ball well. He seems completely uncomfortable at bat.

After an excellent play by Cabrera to get Kepp out, Johnson goes Crawford. Astros lead 2-0

Castro follows with a single.  First back to back hits for the 'Stros today.

Wandy lifted for PH--Jason Michaels.  Michaels doubles off the LF scoreboard, Castro to 3rd.

Reds Pitching change: Double switch, Bruce comes in (taking Heisey's place in RF,  batting 9th). Leake replaced on the mound by Arthur Rhodes.

Bourn doubles down LF line, scoring Castro and Michaels. Astros 4, Reds 0

Hernandez grounds out to second, Bourn advances to third, but is stranded there by Berkman who lifts a pop to SS.

Like I said, completely uncomfortable at the plate. That 2-run double off of a lefty was accidental.

Couple of nice plays there by Hernandez.

He appears to have a strong arm. Heck of a play by the Cincy SS, too, on the Keppinger grounder.

Don't see that too often! Swinging strike three gets by the catcher and Kepp goes from 2nd to 3rd and the batter gets to first safely. 4-0 Astros, bottom of the 8th.

Wandy really used his fastball very well today. Sometimes, he falls in love with his admittedly wicked hook, but hitters who were laying in wait for it today were treated to some cheese. Excellent performance.

Neither here nor there, but 3 observations for you:

Dice-K is really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really slow on the mound;
Youkilis is annoying at the plate; and
Red Sox fans are every bit as annoying as FTC fans.
