7-18-10 Roy's Quest
« on: July 18, 2010, 01:00:22 pm »
Roy is one win away from matching the most wins in Astros history.  However, a 2 run (and still going) second inning precludes his chance at a shutout, and thus, in his mind, a win.

Roy's doppelganger, Lastings Milledge, knocked in the second run.
"Holy shit, Mozart. Get me off this fucking thing."

This doesn't look like a record tying or extra-prospect-getting type effort.

Dear Yankees, et al,
The Roy Inning is a myth.  Like the female orgasm, you may have read about it here, but none of us have actually witnessed it.  Especially Alike.

And that's not a limp.  It's the extra giddy up we'll package in the deal.

Kind Regards

P.S.  Sorry for your recent loss.  To TB last night.

This is insane.   I saw a female orgasm once during my three years back in El Paso.  Fucking thing feel from the ceiling onto my keyboard, scared the shit out of me.   Thank god the dog ate it.

If the Pirates are going to put Doumit in the lineup, it's our duty to run wild. They need to pay the price if they want his bat in there.

I see you have a googling machine as well.

I'd have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you meddling senior citizens.

And I get that voice actors' job is to, you know, change their voice if necessary.   Was it really THAT hard to find someone to do a Central Texas accent that they had to hire someone from Illinois?

Well, I dozed off for a little bit at the biginning of this game.  I am surprised by two things (well really only one).

#1 getting 1-hit by Malholm.

#2 the Pirates only have 2 runs scored

Any more word on Pettitte's injury?

We were watching the game and he had some pull or similar in his leg.  Looked muscular/ligament/tendon related.   He couldn't even toss a practice throw; they just pulled him.

No further info yet.

Oh, except that the field reporter for the Yankees is in fact a horse with a wig and lipstick.

Too bad the Yankees don't have anything we want, eh?

Never happen. Roy's contract is too expensive for the Yankees and Drayton is too cheap to give them any salary relief.
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)
