Doesn't make EW's top ten greatest characters list.  Such aggression will not stand, man.

Don't associate with is recent "Mexicans" thread.  Otherwise, you might think he's making tortillas.

Fact: I have never seen "The Big Lebowski".  And I don't consider it a significant hole in my life.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Its pretty funny and it has good repeatability and I don't know many people who have seen it who didn't like it.   There are about 5 better Coen Brother movies at least, but this one is something you can throw on and not have to think too hard.

In my opinion it's their best.  I'll take Lebowski over Raising Arizona, O Brother Where Art Thou?, No Country for Old Men, and Miller's Crossing, which in my mind round out the top 5.  I'm not much of a fan of Fargo.

My five would be : 1) No Country for Old Men 2) Fargo 3) Raising Arizona 4) Blood Simple 5) A Serious Man not necessarily in that order. But comedies are better for repeat viewings than dramas so I watch Big Lebowski and Raising Arizona more than the others.

Also, I'm not even sure if The Dude is belongs in the top ten list of characters in his own movie.  I don't think he's in the top 3, even.

There was this woman...pushing a shopping cart at the opening scene at Ralph's...best part in the whole movie.

Don't think I've seen the "adult" version...but I've seen the condensed versions, both "clean" and "dirty".

How the academy overlooked her, I will never understand.

Fascinating story about her.  Apparently, she was a nanny for one of Ethan's neighbors.  After spending days struggling with the right casting, he ran into her one day at the local store and just knew she needed to play the part.  A couple of phone calls to temporary baby-sitter references later, movie magic was made.

No, I don't mean that.  Like, there's an X-rated version.  So when Bunny says "I'll suck your cock for a thousand bucks"-well, you get the idea.

At a former employer, I would sometimes take a short cut through IT to get to the accounting arseholes dept.  Despite the whole company being under the watchful eye of a pretty heavy-handed fun filter, half of the tech guys would be alt-tabbing off games and/or porn.  I think half of them left to go and run the MMS.

I used to work at a videogame company where you could complain to IT if your computer didn't play games fast enough. They also had massive network drives with the installation files for any current game, and a physical library of pretty much any videogame ever.

It wasn't the most efficient place I ever worked.
