As one of the spectators from last night (tickets given to us) I must say the crowds are just there for the beer. Unless you happen to go to one of the concession stands and they are out of beer. (Yes, Pam lost a chance to get some cash out of someone.)
But anyway, there was a couple in front of us that was more interested in taking pictures of themselves than watching the game. Some dude in the club level (I think it was the club level) had a huge freaking glove, which made a different lady take a picture of that. Two sections over security had a "talking-to" with a customer. I wish they had taken the guy out because he seemed like an asshole to me. A guy couple rows behind us yelled at the people in our section trying to start the wave it was too early in the game to do so. Thought that was funny. There is some good people watching in-between innings, definitely better than anything the Astros provide. That stupid hot sauce race needs to go away. It is embarrasing.
But the best or worst part of the night, was the guy that walked up to me and told me my nuts smelled good for a girl. Then started to blame the catchers for Roy's losses. Pretty much seemed to want JR back. Thankfully, he walked away when he realized he couldn't change my mind about Roy and the team. Don't think I'll buy the cinnamon glazed pecans again if that is the response I get.
Oh, and 3 of the 4 games I've gone to this year, I have not sat in my seat. Lots of good seats available in the lower levels that aren't being used.
