Astros Race for the Pennant

No, not the actual race that was over one week into the season.  The 5K run past the piss-stained tramplands of north east downtown.

It's on May 29.  Anyone running?  I'm thinking about it.

Was going to, until I realized I will be driving out of state that day.

I'm not sure if running is exactly the right term for what I do, but I will be participating.  It will be the first time I've ever done one of these and I'll be trying to keep up with my dad.  On the plus side, the quest to keep up with the 59 yr old has taken 30 lbs off since Feb.

Blimey, that was a lot of people.  Spent the whole 26:08 weaving in an out of people.  Did get to finish with my dad though, which was nice.
