Permian IMPOSTER
« on: May 13, 2010, 10:24:09 am »
For some reason I find this story hilarious.... it would be pretty sweet to go back to HS and relive some glory days. Although I think at this stage of my life, I'd go back to high school and just find myself cut from the high school basketball team. And then I'd just be stuck going to.. classes.

So the star sophomore was actually 22. I see some statutory rape charges in his future too.

Anybody else read the article in The New Yorker from last year about a French guy who went around Europe to different schools posing as an abused teenager, leaving each place as soon as he got caught (usually after several months)?  It culminated with him pretending to be a runaway teen from the United States, which actually led to him going to America and living with that teen's family for about a year!  The guy was in his early 30's by the end.  Pretty great article, and shed a lot of light on the psychology of people who do this.  It's about a lot more than just reliving glory days.

You'd hope he get the upper limit of that possible 2-20 year sentence. I mean, this guy pretended to be 15 years old. Its one thing to play high school basketball, its another thing to have sex with high school girls also

Playing basketball in high school never helped me bag any chicks.

Oh yes it did.   Just because you weren't interested doesn't mean it didn't happen.
