One thing I forgot in the recap (re: Oswalt)

On TV, it looked like he was wincing as he came off the mound after the 6th.  Was it coincidental that he was lifted in the bottom of the inning?

Mills said after the game that they lifted him to try to get some offense going (he led off the 6th.) A reporter asked if Roy would have gone back out otherwise and Mills said yes.
