Front page wonky?
« on: December 16, 2009, 09:18:55 am »
I'm getting a pretty strange rendering of the front page, and I'm seeing the same results on four different machines. Basically, the top banner isn't rendering, and then the usual list of links below that banner isn't present at all. Layout of "Astros News" and "MLB Landscape" pieces on the right doesn't look correct either.

The status bar at the bottom of the browser always says "Transferring data from widgetserver.com" or "Transferring data from <some flash provider>.com", so I'm assuming that the page hasn't ever actually finished rendering because it hasn't received all of its elements.

Is anybody else seeing the same thing, or is this an artifact of some connectivity problem on my end?

There's a front page?  Kidding....
I'm seeing the same thing, it's like it reverted to a generic blog template.

I'm told this happens when it gets no hits for 1 week or more.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

I have some weird aversion to bookmarks, so I type in "www.orangewhoopass.com" about 57x a day.  I'm getting the same weird front page, though.

Looks fixed now...

You're swiping all my best material.

It is rather sad that is your best material.

What's sad is that I really didn't know that there was a front page until last Thursday. And who the hell is "Noe?"
