sorry, FC SAN only over here.  But iscsi sounds more like what I call NAS - Network Accessible Storage.  There are many options out there for that.  Hell, I saw a Wireless N Router with a USB port to add a HD to use as NAS at Walmart of all places (My wife rarely points out my geekiness, but she rolled her eyes when I attempted to explain how friggin cool that was... and no, I did not buy it).

Nothing screams "cool" like a wireless N router with a USB port to add a HD to use as NAS.

I'm thinking more along the lines of corporate networking.  Four or five diskless 2008 servers/2007 Exchange servers, remote booting from the SAN iSCSI server.  FC is not highly recommended from Microsoft for this application.  Don't want to use a VLan, but a separate SAN network altogether.

I recently had to replace my old wireless router, and bought one with the USB for HD.  I don't have anything attached yet, but it won't be long...

You're a regular James Dean, Steve McQueen and Arthur Fonzarelli, all rolled into one.

Sorry, MS is not my platform of expertise...

I'm no expert at all on the topic, in fact I just barely know anything at all about SANs, but the office I work for is in the process of buying a SAN solution. I can get you the stuff we're looking at if you're interested.
