PHI at HOU, 9/5/09
« on: September 05, 2009, 07:02:12 pm »
Bourn singled and then stole his 50th base of the season in B1 but was stranded at 3B.
Spaz hit a 2-run shot to right in B2 to put the Good Guys up 2-0.
Oswalt has allowed 1 hit and walked 1 thru 3 with 3Ks (I think).
Spaz singles in Berkman in B3 (moving Lee to 2B).

End 3: PHI 0, HOU 3

JD & Brownie were really talking up the fact that he's been going the other way.  Said Berry was speaking really highly of the approach, and commenting that Pence was in that groove earlier in the year and "for some reason" got out of it.

And Coop in the last couple of days has mentioned how happy he is that Pence!!! is hitting the ball to the opposite field or going with the pitch.

JD questioned why Cooper would use Erstad, his only LH hitter on the bench, in this spot.

I think we need to consider the possibility that Chan Ho Park is a zombie.

Dunno what it's like there, but on the radio it sounds like a lot of booing.

Giving up a triple to someone like Ryan Howard is worthy of a little booing IMO.

Here is a link to the martial arts skills displayed by Chan Ho as referenced by JD. Caution, not for work .... apparently it has great appeal on a Spanish language T&A site.

Was at the game, there was alot of booing directed towards Byrdak and Hawkins.  Fans can be stupid.
