Nice interview with Bazardo pregame. Said he wasn't ready and didn't have his stuff last Saturday when he was brought in but now he has changed his routine and looks forward to pitching out of the bullpen. Seems like a good kid.

Norris' FB is beautiful when it runs away from a LH batter. I was hoping he'd ride it in on Ramirez and get him to pop out, but I'll take a grounder to second.

He had to do it all himself. Blue wasn't helping at all.

I'd complain about Pudge's recent slump, but then I realized that a .252 BA makes him a juggernaut compared to the recent occupants of the area behind home plate.  Not to mention his other positive contributions.

Norris loaded the bases with none out but retired the side and only one run scored. It's 6-3 Astros, top of the 4th.

1 run scores on Miggy's groundout. 2 more in on Lee's single to CF makes it 9-3 in the 4th, one out.

I'm so pissed at Verizon- our land line and DSL keep going in and out, so I can't comment when I'd like. This is terribly inconvenient, but especially during an Astros game.

Bottom 6, 4-2 Express. Polin Trinidad pitching and really relying on the humid air to keep the ball in the park.

Abercrombie up with 2 on and 2 out doesn't come close and Ks.

As usual, you are correct. Brydak has been a servicable pitcher. I just don't have a lot of faith in him. Of course, I don't have a lot of faith in Sampson either.
