Top 4th, HOU 3, MIN 1.

If anyone needs more frequent/detailed info, let me know.  I doubt too many are feverishly refreshing the GZ this afternoon, but just in case....

Pence out at 2nd on a bullshit call.  Pudge grounded up the middle, ball deflects off 2B glove towards the bag, where SS pulls off the bag to grab it.  Replays are clear.  Coop out to discuss.

I'm not feverishly refreshing, but I'm cooking, and the Older Son is flipping between a movie and the game... with more tv time going to the movie, of course. So I'm happy to have whatever updates you give. Do what's easiest for you- it's appreciated. :)

Wandy is looking much better today. I like his working off of his fastball. To me, that's his key.

Bottom 6th

Gomez squares to bunt, ball ricochets off his bat right into his forehead, helmet flies off.  Gomez rubs some dirt on it, strikes out.  Ball squirts away from Pudge, who chases it down and runs to 1st to get the out.  2 unassisted, Gomez not running.  1 out.

Harris strikes out looking.  7 k's for Wandy, at least 1 in every inning.  2 outs.
Mauer bounces to 1st.  3 outs.

Top 8: Guerrier (RHP) in on relief

Puma: smokes one to the wall in right center for his 12th double of the year.  None out, runner on 2B.

Thunderpants: Hard grounder almost past the shortstop (shoulda been, but heck of a play).  Shortstop picks it, and throws to try to get Puma heading back to 2B.  Has Puma beat, but Puma sliding headfirst shows the 2B the left arm but then pulled it away and touches the base with his right arm.  None out, runners at 1B and 2B.

Pudge: grounds into a 5-4-3 DP.  2 outs, Puma at 3B.

Kaz: Flies out to center.  3 outs.
