Upton sure put a lot of effort into that one. If I were managing that team, he'd be sitting on the bench right next to me.

He needs to go, I don't see how you can justify keeping him with a 7 era? RH batters were batting .442 against him coming into the game.

That's not what it looked like to me. It might have been a cutter, but it had little movement and a whole lot of plate.

Double steal, no throw.  Spaz had a huge lead and there was no one at the bag to cover a throw to 2B (although couldn't have gotten Twinkie anyway).

Maysonet singles on a nice bunt down the 3B line.  Ortiz in to pinch hit for Moehler, Maysonet to 2B on a wild pitch, Ortiz pops up on a nice catch by the 1B over the camera well rail.  1 out, runner on 2B with Bourn at the dish.

Excellent baserunning by Bourn.  Miggy hits a tapper to 3B, 3B well up on it, throws to 1B, Bourn sneakin in behind the 3B, takes off on the throw to 1B and scores easily.  Middle 7: HOU 8, ARI 3

Can we put Bourn on the list of untouchables?  Just a joy to watch.

He should be a lesson to all the nitwits who derided Wade and emphatically said that Bourn would never amount to enough of an offensive weapon to 1) hit leadoff or 2) justify the Lidge trade.

He's alot of fun to watch. I love that opposite field stroke. I'm ready to buy stock in Maysonet, too.

Certainly more appealing than the job-stopper on Rausch's neck.

Seriously, who's in on a group buy for Bourn jerseys?  That guy is a fucking stud and a joy to watch play baseball.

No shit.  I just had the alternate jersey (white sans pinstripes) with his name and number in my shopping cart.  I'm wondering if my family can find something a little cheaper at the ballpark.
