The stated purpose of removing Paulino from the rotation was to provide relief to the pen. It seems like it had the opposite effect as I think those 6 innings every time was working out just fine. This team is in chaos.

I only manage teams in my head, but I think converting a promising pitcher (who is used to starting) is necessary in extreme need. I think there were other (better) options that, for some reason, Coop/Wade chose to ignore. But then again, I probably wouldn't have pulled Ortiz either tonight.

Ok, I need a ruling. Brownie says that the appearance of Soto, the ninth hitter in the inning, constitutes "batting around". To me, you're not "batting around" until somebody comes up for the second time in the same inning. Am I being too strict?
