Oh look, the Cubs are 10-11.  And they're playing the Marlins today, it's the top of the 4th and they're behind 3-1.

They blew yesterday's game in spectacular fashion.  It was a fun way to keep myself occupied while I waited for Bulls-Celtics to finish / rockets coverage to begin.  Their defense is truly horrid.

Seems as good a place as any to show a  post apocalyptic Wrigley field.
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Except, with respect to Wrigley, the apocalypse begins when they win a World Series.

No, it will be just before the final out in a playoff series where they're about to win and go to the Series.  It's in the BBG bible, in the Apocalypse of St Karl the Mildly Disinterested:

and in the game of the ball
The striped bear children will be one out from glory
and lo!  a comet shall strike the ball and the end times will come
and the striped bear children shall be rejected for the final time

Their IF, outside of Lee, isn't much to write home about defensively.
Today seems like a good day to burn a bridge or two

I don't see much difference except for a few less drunks in the stands wearing sweaters made out of their own back hair.

The ivy looks a little sparse in those pictures.  Have the grounds crew throw some miracle grow on there until the ivy is eating baseballs on a daily basis.
