Looks like Brocail is hurt

He's coming home to Houston to get his shoulder examined by Dr. Littner.  This is not good news regardless of how much they play up the fact that it may be tendinitis.  Any time shoulder pain is evident and you can't pitch through it, then it's serious.  Alberto Arias better get ready, he may be coming up soon.

If he was hurting all of spring training, why wait til now to get it checked out?

I dunno.  I heard about it last night from a friend, but it is serious (or so they think because a pitcher will usually try to pitch through pain).  Whenever they can't pitch through pain, it is extremely serious.

I told you he didn't look good in ST.  His velocity seemed like it was down and he had no command.  I was worried then and am more worried now.  Hopefully Doug's ok, but at least it wasn't a SP going down (knocking on wood).

It's still a hell of a thing to replace a guy who was your bullpen anchor. I hope the other guys are up to the task but really, after last year you had to think his deal with the devil was due to expire any time now.

He's definitely had a nice run the last few years.  I'm glad the club decided to keep Geary.

Arias 2.1 IP, 2 H, 6 R,   4 ER, 5 BB

I was at the game tonight, it wasn't a pretty sight. He walked the pitcher twice.

Anybody know why the starting pitcher Fulchino only pitched 2 innings?

Thanks. I should've read up on the team, but the decision to head up to RR was made on a bit of a whim.

My girlfriend didn't really have fun, and the dumbass sitting on my other side thought he was being funny when he quipped, "So they've really got the base coaches wearing little helmets now?" I told him about Mike Coolbaugh, but he didn't seem too remorseful about his remark.

Despite that, it was still a good time. Section 113, row 3 - best seats I've ever had at a baseball game.
