512 Brewery

Just tried my first 512 Pale.  Not bad.  Web site says they have a pecan porter.  I'd like to try that.

Looks interesting, any of it available outside of Austin, specifically Houston?

Speaking of Pecan beers, had some of Abita's Pecan Harvest Ale this weekend and very much enjoyed it.  Went perfect with a weekend spent on the back porch eating crawfish and grilling burgers.  Easty to drink and just the right amount of Pecan.

Where can you get these?  I have a friend who is visiting Austin this weekend and I wouldn't mind surprising him with something new.

Trudy's has/had the IPA on tap.
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

I'm pretty sure they don't.  There are significant fees/licenses that can be avoided in TX by distributing in kegs only if the amount you sell is low enough.  Same thing with the Live Oak brewery.
