Today seems like a good day to burn a bridge or two

Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

Ugh.

Disagree.  Not about old school V.I., but on Canseco.  Are people pissed that he's a generally unlikeable guy or that he opened the can of worms?  IF the guy can serve some positive role in encouraging young players to stay clean, then why not let him?

I would too if I thought it was even remotely from the heart.  I just think the guy is looking for any 15 minutes he can find.

Whistleblower and douchebag are not mutually exclusive.

Recently saw a documentary on Canseco.  Actually it forces me to retract everything I said in my previous post now that I recall upon it.

Recap:  Canseco tries to get clean (still using) and can't get over his bitterness about how he was shut out of baseball completely.  The guy was so pathetic is was possible to feel sorry for him.  During the ending credits it said that after taping he was arrested obtaining more steroids.  Maybe he is clean now.  Who knows?  Anyways, it's probably a stretch for baseball to give him a formal apology.  If he were to stay clean for any substantial time, then his best bet is as a role model to young players for what the hell not to do.

It's hard to choose between those two, but both cracked me up.
