I'm all set for PBP.

By PBP, I mean, of course, Pounding Beers for Pam.

Someone else can take care of the play-by-play.

Since his demotion to Round Rock, Towles would like to change his previous answer.  He just wants to go to the rodeo.

His movie of Bowie's last concert at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1973 as Ziggy Stardust with the Spiders from Mars.  If you were into glam, and I was, this is the zenith.  Might be everyone else's nadir.

i'm thinking yes.  the astros did not care enough to take current pictures and get rid of the photoshop pictures used during home games.  why would they change the questions asked?

Moonage Daydream, Time and Rock and Roll Suicide are the high points.  Before the last number he tells the crowd (and the band) that not only is this the last show of the tour...it's the last show we'll ever do.  That was a big deal back then.  Shocked the hell out of the band too.

Wigginton: grounded out to short on 2-0 pitch.  1 out, none on.

Berkman: struck out swinging on 3-2 pitch (gave the Colorado faithful a souvenir, sending his bat flying into the stands on the K).  3 outs.

Is Rock and Roll Suicide at the end, or has it already been on? That's my favorite cut on the entire album, I love the way the horns kind of swell into it.

hey Mihoba

I think Kile and Hampton probably didn't get a hundred because you don't start that many games as a starting pitcher.

And did you ever get the research I asked for the other night?

I hope he gets a chance and sticks around, he's fantastic out in CF and does seem to be a good guy.

If it were up to Wade, I think he gets the chance.  Don't know if Coop is giving him a fair shot, though.  No evidence, but just a gut feeling from some of his interviews/quotes.

But did they actually play 100 games for the Rockies? That's 3 years worth of starts.

i thought of that while you were replying, then i typed a similar reply.

Top 5: Jiminez pitching

Blum: pops up to SS in shallow center (1st pitch).  1 out, none on.

Spaz: doubled down the left field line on 3-1 pitch (heard a lot of cheers in the background on that one, must be some Good Guy fans in the stands).  1 out, Spaz at 2B.

Erstad: soft fly single over the infield into center on 0-1 pitch, Spaz has to hold up because Tulo had an outside shot at it and ends up at 3B.  1 out, Spaz and Erstad at the corners.

Q: struck out swinging on 1-2 pitch.  2 outs, runners at the corners.

Moehler: struck out looking on 2-2 pitch (although fouled a couple off).  3 outs.

Middle 5: HOU 0, COL 3

Jiminez pitch count through 5: 62 (39/23)

Bottom 5: Moehler pitching

Barmes: Homers to left on 0-1 pitch, Erstad looked very Spaz'esque in his 'timing/leap' to 'try' to catch that.  HOU 0, COL 4.  None out, none on.

Taveras: struck out looking on 2-2 pitch.  1 out, none on.

Holliday: popped the 2-2 pitch off the end of his bat into shallow'ish right center.  2 outs, none on.

Hawpe: walked on 3-2 changeup outside.  2 outs, runner at 1B.

Atkins: ripped a 1-0 pitch single to left, Hawpe to 2B.  2 outs, runners at 1B and 2B.

Stewart: walked on 3-2 pitch inside.  2 outs, bases juiced.

Coop to the mound for the pitching change

Bottom 5 (2 outs, bases loaded): HOU 0, COL 4

Who knew that his lead played a Les Paul? I assumed it would be some sort of tricked out something-or-other.

Dude, that's the immortal (well, not really) Mick Ronson.  That Les Paul boxy sound was a hallmark of the early 70s British rock sound.

Bourn leaves 1B early, but Jimenez makes a bad throw (sailed over 1B).  Bourn advances to 3B.

Crapola

That would make for an interesting box of Crayolas.

Bat Guano Brown
Dog Poo Burnt Umber
Cat Crap Cinnamon
