Wow... there are a ton of fan videos from that night.

I'm not sure I've ever heard anything like the final lighting/thunder combo that served as the catalyst for the Astros exiting the field. It sounded like a damn bomb going off.

ETA: Sweet... I make an appearance around the 4:25 mark of this one. White hat, black Astros shirt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVEZSlA-dmo&feature=related

Fuck the Cubs!

Godawful movie. Second worst movie I've seen this year behind the X-Files, and at least that was funny-bad. Cloverfield just sucked.

What were those large puddles throughout the concourse? Water or urine?

I found Cloverfield entertaining. But then clearly our tastes differ based on your even having gone to see the X-Files movie.

Friend dragged me to it. I agreed to go solely because I'd heard about Scully injecting a syringe of goo labeled "stem cells" into a kid's brain. I was disappointed that there wasn't actually a label, but overall the sequence did not disappoint. It was hilarious. Also funny are Mulder's quips about child molestation.

I highly recommend that if by some freak occurrence you do wind up seeing it, make sure you're surrounded by die-hard X-Files fans. They're just as entertaining as the movie when they try to pretend it's halfway decent.

The fact that they still exist is a sociological curiosity. Is that show even in syndication anymore?
