Ya think?
« on: May 13, 2008, 08:47:44 pm »
After the catcher was ejected for complaining about a ball called on Milwaukee’s Corey Hart during the fifth inning of an 8-3 loss Monday night, Yadier Molina protested by taking off his gear and leaving it in a pile at the feet of plate umpire Paul Schrieber.

“We’ll hear something,” manager Tony La Russa said  “It’s not going to go unnoticed… Yaddy has established a reputation as being somebody umpires like to work with, and he’s not confrontational … If he’s sincere, what can you say about it?”

You can say he’s a douche nozzle , like the rest of your team Grandma.  Every series it's something new with these candyasses.

If he's sincere, what can you say about it?”

Then he'll be sincerely fined and his pitchers will get sincerely squeezed.

I can't read one of your posts without re-enacting, in my head, that entire movie scene, and then contemplating whether or not to tell you I remember you as "Joe the Policeman, from the 'What's Goin Down' episode of That's My Momma."

There is no place in baseball for what he did. He needs to be sincerely fined and sincerely suspended for 3 or 4 games for that shit. That was ridiculous.

Absotively posilutely. From the pitcher's perspective, I wouldn't want Molina catching me when Schreiber's crew is in town.

Doesn't matter, what he really *cost* his pitchers was some borderline pitches from umpires with elephant like memory.

good.

What I liked reading was LaWhiner's post-game quotes trying to soft sell to the umpires that Lil' Miss Prissy was actually a good guy and loves working with umpires and has the upmost respect for them and how he is a catcher who has been around long enough to be given the benefit of the doubt, blah, blah, blah.

Screw that, if I'm an umpire, Yaddy Baby is getting no calls on the black from me!

The way he stares down base runners he just threw out is so classy.

Sincerity, consistency...the Old Faithful of Douchenozzles!
