Looks like Roy got run, the kid is still pitching well and Tejada is still hot at the plate.

End 5: Tribe 5, Astros 3.

This was without a doubt the worst defensive spectacle I've seen. For additional fun there was a double-headed baserunning blunder (Romero foolishly waving Berkman home and Tejada doing god knows what over at first to get thrown out after Lance). But we've seen all that before. What really interested me about this game was that Towles was paired up with Roy and Roy seemed very, very frustrated with his catcher. He continually shook off sign after sign and would frequently step off the rubber to regroup after not being able to get in synch with Towles as he went through the signs. He never got into the sort of Oswalt rhythm that we're all familiar with, and it certainly looked like a lot of that was due to the poor communication between the battery. I'll be fascinated to see if Coop pairs Roy with Towles during the season and if so what happens.

Chuck, your first hand observations are much appreciated.
