ST intelligence

Cubs will acquire Roberts
Cubs must move Marquis
Reports from Fla say Woody is running on empty
Astros want to move Loretta
Wade's fault as a trader is that he throws in the extra guy. This year it was Sarfate.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

I'm still scratching my head to figure out why the Astros would want to move Loretta. I know he doesn't have a "power bat," but you'd still have to consider him one of the best bench guys in all of baseball, I'd think. And his salary isn't exactly killing the team.

Curious... I understand that the Cubs want to move Marquis, but why *must* they?
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Since Matsui tested positive for roids, we should make sure that he is all healed up before moving Loretta.  Injuries like that can be a real pain in the ass.

What "extra guys" came back to haunt the Phillies?

Sarfate was the only guy that the Astros gave up in all of their moves whose departure really disappointed me. The Astros got him for nothing and he showed such promise. Oh well.

He doesn't use enough fiber in his diet.
