Did I miss this about Towles?

Likes to hunt, involved of lots of church activities, and has a smoking hot girlfriend.

I think he'll fit in well on the Astros and shouldn't hurt Berkman's beloved team chemistry.

It's really, really subtle, but yes, there are some indications that he'll make it onto Lance's Christmas card list.

The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

It depends on the context. If you're talking about someone who was once a man and had surgery to become a woman, he/she could talk about their "past balls" and it would be accurate.

Don't worry about the going to Hell part.  The movie lampoons those who blindly follow, not those who knowingly follow, nor JC himself.  However, if you see the same imagery in the opening title animation as I do, you are going to Hell.  Just not simply for this movie.
