Reconsidering Aubrey Huff
« on: November 13, 2007, 10:37:43 am »
Not that I or anyone else with half a mind would want him back in Houston, but if you haven't read the transcript of his infamous radio appearance in Balmer last week, it's worth your while.  You might want to keep a bar of soap handy to wash your brain afterwards.  Seriously.

Warning: this does contain some (ahem) adult language.

Aubrey Huff isn't a bad player.  The Astros have been infatuated with third basemen who were much less players than Huff.
Lighten up, Francis.

So is this good for the hands too?  Or is Alou's method better?

Yeah, I'm of half a mind too. I liked him here and was sorry to see him go, although admittedly I haven't paid attention to what he's done since.
