Gameday showed a couple of the balls to Hardy as strikes. How close were they?

what did Burke/Berkman do?

berkman.  gabe gross 2 out infield single.  pitcher villanueva takes a wide turn at third, and berkman decides to get cute and rifles a wild throw that ends up, well, let's just say it didn't end up in the third baseman's glove.

one-hopped Wigginton, but it looked like there was no chance at a play anyway. Didn't Lance do that just a couple weeks ago, with the same result?

Haw! Wish I'd seen that. Replay.

Nice run by El Caballo to beat that throw to 1st... Lance out at 2nd, but Burke to 3rd and PENCE!!! scores...

...and oh, pfoot, Loretta grounds a little hopper to 3rd, throw to 1st, 3 outs...

With all the Boooooooos at Miller Park, it sounds like "CrawfordBoxes" is really a Brewer fan.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Braun bunts the ball straight up the 3B line, Lamb over to get it, and the damn ball ricochets off the bag and in the opposite direction. Lamb watches, helplessly, as Braun gets to 1st. Sheesh.

To paraphrase Chris Rock...you're SUPPOSED TO RUN to first base!! The only reason he beat that was 'cause it was a slow chopper, and Hardy couldnb't charge due to the baserunner in his way. Oh, and Weeks made a bad throw. With all that, Lee still barely got there.

Which, for Lee, is a "nice run to first." As opposed to the jog he usually seems to do, you know.

I think Weekes made a bad throw because he was shocked that El Caballo was galloping to first instead of trotting.
