No crowd, no atmosphere, no runs.  Your 2007(b) Astros.

The weather was awful tonight, that is why the crowd is smaller.   The crowd is actually pretty good considering.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I'm sure tomorrow they'll be packed to the rafters.

It just LOOKS empty because the seats are too dark.

They need to be BRIGHT!..

Mr Mclane,

On Wednesday, would it be possible to retire Junction Jack's number?

I will say this about the crowd... I was supposed to be there but the weather from 6-7:30 was so bad that I did not make it from the Medical Center to downtown.  Ended up sitting in a parking lot off San Jac between Alabama and Holman for over an hour waiting for the water on the street to recede.  Decided I'd had enough excitement for one night, said fuck it, and came home.

Can't say that I am terribly disappointed with that decision based on how things went.  But I did try to go.

I grew up in Ohio and can drive in snow; I have no earthly idea how to drive in 2 feet of H20.

Minus the Cardinal fans, the crowd was larger than I expected.

I half-caught JD and Brownie talking something last night about Junction Jack getting fired. I assume they were just trying to be funny, but given the past week's actions, not much would surprise me at this point.

Fine by me. Junction Jack always just looked like the Quik bunny with overalls to me (and now he's even lost those).

Sorry - just saw where this was already brought up on another thread.

I think they were pulling it from Ken Hoffman's colummn that morning.
