New favorite commercial
« on: August 25, 2007, 03:32:05 pm »
Has anybody else seen the commercial with the two guys batting a baseball between themselves on a tennis court? It's hilarious, and well-done.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

Anyone else grown weary of the aging "Mr. Wolf" commercial coaching Jeter's brain?  "You see that schmendrick over there?"

I laugh every time I see this southwest airlines commercial with a guy trying to send a container full of coins through the drive thru tube.  Their ad department is very creative.

Growing tired of Harvey Keitel? Never.

Growing tired of Derek Jeter. Always.

I also like the lady with the contact problem in the men's restroom.

I saw the tennis baseball commercial several times today.  Thought it was cool.  Can't remember what it was advertising - not a good sign.
Always ready to go to a game.

They didn't do Harvey any favors in that commercial; he looks like his choppers are coming lose in it.

As good as he was in Pulp Fiction, I'll take his Bugsy roll any day, not to mention the insanity that was Bad Lieutenant.  I guess I just hate him in that commercial because of the company he's keeping.

I liked Keitel in "The Duellists."  One of my favorite films.

Sword fights, fist fights, gun fights, arguments, insults, Napoleonic campaigns....who knew the French would actually fight?!

Truly an amazing early work of Ridley Scott.

EDIT:  Gotta be careful with my question marks....4 ?'s get you a symbol {must write that down}.

Truly an amazing early work of Ridley Scott.

Very fews duds in his resume.  Lots of smashes.  I think Duellists was his first feature.

Keitel is also very good in "The Border."  Great soundtrack by Ry Cooder, too.

I like Harvey, but, could have done without The Piano.

Is John Lackey the pitcher in that ad?
