This looks decent. Maybe as a platoon partner for Luke Scott in RF next year (with Pence in CF).
I'm not directing this at you per se, but this comment seems like a good place to insert this thought that's been rolling around in my head.
Luke doesn't hit significantly worse against lefties. (Over his career, his OBP is actually better, although his SLG is down.) For that matter, Mike Lamb and Jason Lane haven't shown themselves to be significantly split, either.
I guess my point is that, while there's no question that lefties generally hit righties better and vice-versa, that phenomenon isn't necessarily embodied in the current Astros on the fringe of the starting lineup. If Phil's just using a lefty or righty pitcher as a way to split up time between these guys, that makes some sense to me, but if he's actively platooning players who aren't significantly split, I'm not sure I see why.
