I guess his defense has improved quite a bit. Are the astros still considering him as a catching prospect or is he just a 3rd basemen now?

The Astros have never said he was considered a catching prospect.  They have maintained he was a 3rd baseman.  The catcher stuff was related to people wanting him to catch his dad in a game.

As for his improvement.  He has shown improvement this year.  He has made 16 Errors in 78 games (bout 15 of those were at DH).  Last year he made 23 errors in 93 games (unsure how many were at DH).
Always ready to go to a game.

I'm sure I'm just showing my ignorance and please pardon me if I am, but what position is DH?

He means 15 of those total games played were played as the designated hitter, so subtract those from the total to get an idea of how many errors he makes per game he was in the field.  At first, I thought he was booting balls while on deck.

I keep track of games started and games played by position for the whole system.  I'll check out my data from last year and update this thread if anyone cares.

2006 Lexington:  84 games at 3B (82 starts), 1 start at 2B (only game appeared) and 5 starts at DH.

2007 Lexington:  67 games at 3B (all starts) and 14 starts at DH.
