According to the Pinwheel's blog, he'll no longer be on 610

http://blogs.chron.com/sportsjustice/archives/2007/07/the_astros_have.html

So in the last year that makes Palillo, Granato, Zierlein and now Justice.  Some big changes over there.

Honestly, the only guy I like listening to at this point is John McClain.
The test of a true champion is how he reacts to adversity on days when it is bound to come.

At this point, they only thing keeping them above water is the Texans broadcasts and that's a once a week deal that doesn't even last half the year.  They are in deep shit.  I don't know who or what is responsible for their fall, but it has been amazingly fast.
Crazy Joe McCluskey was fucking nuts.  It's why they called him Crazy Joe.

Wow!  You enjoy slavering monotone arrogance?

McClain is the only person at the chronicle who actually gets good information about the sport he covers.

That's fine when he sticks to football, and you don't have to hear him.  He only works in print (without a photo), IMHO.  His voice is like nails down a chalk board; and then every few words he cycles an extremely wet-sounding tongue around his drooling maw...right into the microphone.  Yuck.

The Houston Press had an article this week about how when John Granato's new independent station goes on the air, Houston's going to have 4 sports radio stations.  Something's got to give.

Personally, I only liked Zierlien and Granato on 610; now that they're gone I don't have much reason to listen.  XM is much better for baseball fans anyway.

i like the Night Shift with Adam Wexler. Matt Jackson and him use to have some good arguments. I rarely get up early enough to listen to the morning show regardless of who is on.  Rich Lord is ok but sometimes he comes off as a big wuss.

I listen to Pallilo when i can. he's the only tolerable one on 790

Charlie Pallilo hasn't the vaguest clue about the Astros.

I don't think he knows much about baseball in general. He is very impressed with his own opinion, no matter how unenlightened it may be. He is still arguably the most listenable of the local radio talking heads (sans Granato).
