The Day After 3000
« on: June 30, 2007, 10:13:29 am »
yesterday was one of the most enjoyable days ever in the TZ. what was interesting to me was to notice the usually negative posters who did not put in an appearance. nothing to complain about, probably--kind like Christmas Day. winning and HOF milestones do that, i guess
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

I've got something to complain about. TOday's Astros game is not being shown on Extra Innings, nor on national TV. If Craig had only managed two hits thus far on the homestand, I'd have been pretty pissed.

...so maybe that's just a coulda-been complaint. Hey, I tried.

Hate to break it to you, but your TotY award came at a time when Jeff Bagwell was considered a much greater HoF candidate than Craig Biggio.  A time when The All-Star Game didn't yet "count".  A time when there were no cows on the foul poles.

In other words... yore.

Welcome back.

Paul let me give you some parenting advice that a friend once gave me.

One child with two parents = double coverage
two children with two parents = man on man
any more than two kids = zone package.

The wife and I have stuck with man to man coverage.  No desire to go zone.
Always ready to go to a game.

Nice new avatar, Coach. The next "WFW" I receive will seem that much more personal.

I liked both the previous ones you had, too. Can't go wrong with any of them.

Why do the avatars disappear sometime?  I can refresh a screen and see the Ty in Tampa one, but when the page is done reloading, it is no longer there.

Thankfully that one hasn't disappeared and no.
