I enjoyed the FLASHBACK during the Astros/Rangers game last night where they showed a mini Sammy Sosa hitting a HR off a mini Roger Clemens in 1989.

Clemens is a juicer. Don't believe it? Try paying attention for a change. Follow his career, not just the weight gain. You can see where his ego kicked in high gear and said "can't play anymore, huh? not worth the risk, eh? I'll show THEM!"

I hope he gets caught. He won't. But I hope he does.

This did he or didn't he thing will never die. While the focus is on Bonds, everyone is in the view. Not just the guys who went through a rapid physical change, who were already good. Or had slumped and then regained their youth in their mid 30s. Or the guys with Charles Atlas torsos on Betty Grable legs. How can one look at Ken Griffey Jr or Kenny Rogers and not wonder. John Smoltz? Julio Franco? Jim Edmonds? Albert Pooholes? Alex Rdoriguez? That relief pitcher with the Diamondback.. Grimsley...

What about all the shitty players who took shit thinking it would make them better. If logic prevails then one must realize there were lots of them. Marginal players to the top names in the game. They all took them. No one is that isolated. Guys knew what was going on. In an implicit way they all took them. Everyone. In that manner, they're all guilty.

I need to let it go. It's still hard as shit to hit a baseball. It still hard as shit to thow one past the guys that can.

Back to the Milton Bradley stuff. He is nothing but Trouble. He would fit into the team chemistry like a Barrel of Monkeys. If there is one sure way to sink the astros Battleship, signing this Ants in the Pants would do it. Now, it appears he need an Operation. What a Twister that is. Hey Milton, this is not Candyland, this is The Game of Life. One could reason that he is just after Easy Money like a bunch of Hungry Hungry Hippos. So please astros, do not ink this Buckaroo to a contract, not good Stratego. More like a Mouse Trap.

I'll add to it. My guess was that he realized he needed to be known for having this obscene work-out regimen so that if ever questioned, everyone would jump up and down and say "look! he works out 22 hours a day!"

If he's actually clean, I'll eat my fucking hat online, at a specified pre-set time, for all to view.

i wouldnt say voluntarily though. thursday was the deadline he could submit to the questoning, and thursday was the day he turned himself in, and this after very subtle nudging from the commissioners office.
