Actually, the audio is not bad for non-HD. A lot better than FSSW was earlier in the season.

The video is okay, I guess. Consider, though, that pre-2005 the only games I ever watched were on 51. Via broadcast, not satellite as I'm getting it now.

The sound is both good and bad. The PBP/color is loud enough to where I can keep it at a normal level instead of the eardrum splitting level that it's ALWAYS at when I watch on FSH/FSSW. It does sound VERY tinny, though.

That's probably the only positive news in that respect. Zambrano is at 97 pitches through 6. Not that that means much, but hey at least they've got his pitch count up.

Just got home from work. No "normal" broadcast in San Antonio that I can find. Fortunately, I do have a 10ft C Band dish upon which I found the "Astros Baseball" broadcast targeted at Houston I guess. The big dish is good for 2-3 weird efforts per year. Oh well, go 'stros.

Jody Gerut sounds french to me. He got 14 AB in '05. Probably not who anyone was thinking aboot. Now they are crawling out of the woodwork.

I have lived here the vast majority of my life and I have only heard Dallas transplants use the Bye-O pronunciation.

Yeah, I've spent the last 20 seconds saying it outloud and can't even force myself to say Bye-OH, let alone think of people I know who say it that way.
