A very nice piece--that strosrays guy is a damn fine writer and probably also has a fine tenor voice.

Made me wonder whatever happened to Diane (and Bjorkman).

Wow, that is a powerful reminiscence...makes me miss the old 'Dome.  On top of that, it makes me feel like a bad Houstonian because I've never ridden on the ferry.

Nice. Having grown up in Galveston and ridden the ferry one million times (always getting out of the car), I swear I could smell your story--the salt, the coconut Coppertone, the beer...thanks for taking me back.

I want stros-rays to write my obituary.  I can't wait to see how he descbribes the freak scene I had with Sherry in the end zone at Rice Stadium.

I think I'll print this out so I can use it as summer reading when down on the beach.
