Pinwheel with a new low

Now he's contradicting himself in real time.

From his column:
Quote
Sure, there was an ugly divorce between McLane and Hunsicker, but that was almost three years ago. Who stays mad that long?

From his blog:
Quote
I have a feeling Drayton McLane would rather go 0-162 than ask Gerry Hunsicker for advice.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Little (not-so) secret, Hunsicker stopped talking to Justice a long time ago.  There's no way he's sharing anything from Tampa with Dick.

He gets his grill on the ESPN mothership as the "expert" of the Astros and the "inside" info source.

Go figure.

He makes everything up these days.  Any quotes he bothers to attribute to real live people are all the products of secondary research.

McTaggart got Purpura to talk a non-committal paragraph recently.  The only other "sports" "reporter" for the "Chronical" that has any access to management is Lopez in the post "game" with Garner.  And that is going well for him.

"Penny" is the sports writer equivalent of Kitty Kelley.

As for Jesus-Jesus, if he could branch out beyond racial focus, he might find himself on ESPN more OFTEN.  Perhaps that wonderful creative writing course at the lovely college on the hill in San Marcos could help......

You use steroids?
Chuck Norris once ate three 72 oz. steaks in one hour. He spent the first 45 minutes having sex with his waitress.

Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

Is that Peter Sellers?  Darby O'Gill or Tom Thumb role?  Maybe the Pink Panther movie where his nose melts when he and Dreyfuss are f'd up on laughing gas?
