Cabrera's probably a Brave now, but according to this article:

"The Angels have recently scouted Colorado's Garrett Atkins, Baltimore's Melvin Mora and Houston's Morgan Ensberg."

Palillo is speculating heavily that a move must of been made given the meeting that was held today at the Team offices.  He's banking on a move being made actually.

Nothing on the MLB transactions page as of now.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Listening.  He's speculating bench player movement.

He opened the show with his speculation that moves *were* made.  Was sending David Deloti over there to find out.  He said "we will let you know what those cuts were as soon as we know".  Then he changed the tone of what he was saying and made the suggestion that this is "what they should do if not, then heads should roll!".  He speculated that why would all the people show up today if they weren't ready to make some changes.

Somebody better tell him that they're preparing for the draft, that's why they got together today.  *sigh*

Ironic, considering that you responded to my post just before I pulled it.  Didn't realise when I posted that Puh-lillo was just gobbing off and not actually breaking news.

Were you noting that the Express just left for a road trip and so anyone called up would likely join the team Friday?  IF a change is made, it would more logically be made after tonight's game.

If there actually is a trade agreed, then those players involved have to sit out the game.  That's what I was getting at, but I pulled it when I realised it was CP BS.

Are you filling out the card or are you suggesting a trade?  Pretty sure you are filling out the card since Q is woody's catcher.

I was trying to fill out the card, but Dirty Steve responded with Ausmus, and Q is Woody's normal catcher. So that's unusual.

ausmus was woody's catcher in the 13-3 shellacking in AZ, not sure if this is going to be a permanent issue or not.

It's Firkin, which is a measure of 9 imperial gallons of beer.  An imperial gallon is 8 imperial pints, which are 20 ounces each.

Chone Figgins is done in LAA. - .133/.212/.211

Angels have been interested in Garrett Atkins all year. Rockies seem to be sticking with him.

Possible return from Angels-
Shea Hillebrand - Just Say No
Erick Aybar - infielder
Ervin Santana - allegedely 'top trading chip' - ERA says otherwise - past performance not bad
Jose Molina - allegedely available - no offense

Could be others, this is all I could find.

Chone Figgins is done in LAA. - .133/.212/.211

Angels have been interested in Garrett Anderson all year.

Garret Atkins, correct? Rox 3B.  Anderson already plays for LAA and is on the DL now, I believe.
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

santana great at home but a complete trainwreck on the road.  he has typically been the guy teams ask for when the LAA of A querie them about players.
