I want to see him do it at the ML level. Hopefully, for his own good (I could not care less about any benefit for the Cardinals), he wont freak out. But yeah, he seems to be able to handle hitting at the AAA level.

i went back and looked at the game log. it was a slam--my bad. i was off getting a coke and missed the runner at 3rd.

Not sure where you're getting your stats, but I show him at .275/.313/.570, with 11 HR in 41 games.

Ludwick = .217 / .250 / .261

I'm perfectly fine with him making it back to the majors as a hitter, as long as it does not help the Cards turn their season around.
