On that first Bonds DP, was he running that slow because he is hurt?  Even with degernative knees, I can't see jogging to 1B in that situation.

i would say jogging is giving him too much credit.  the only time he even approaches a trot is after he watches one of his home runs.

Actually, I've seen him go slower than that. I was on extended duty around SF last year, so naturally I took in several SF ball games. Bonds puts his own peculiar spin on "nonchalant."

Eggszactly. I had first row seats in the RF bleachers when Bonds was stuck on 713. Bonds so badly booted a ball out in LF (actually kicking the ball at least 25 feet) that one of the guys in the bleachers stood up and screamed "Timmmaah" like they do on South Park. The crowd had a belly laugh. Every one there knew exactly where that came from.
