I read NYCU everyday, prav.  Thank you for scouring the globe for up to the minutes news and useful info.  I bow to you,  oh Holy Illuminati.

That's why it's called News You Can Use, and not News You Will Use.

For the record, I've never read it once.

What I like to do, is find something a few days later and wander in here, quote something, without a link, and then wonder why everyone ignores it until MRaup says something obnoxious.

And I hate pravata.

That's not what I'm fishing for, seriously, that takes work.  If no one is reading it (look at the stats) I can spin in my chair.

Get in line pal.  I'm actually jealous of Clemens.  Think of it, 4 fucking cities that hate him.  One FOREIGN!  And one city is so delusional that they hated him and then completely forgot they hated him and is now making fun of Houston for hating him.  He's my goddam hero.

What I find most lazy about your work tonight is that you stopped at "4 cities."  You left out Austin and I'm sure Dayton.  Oh, and Katy.  Which isn't a city, so much as a burgh.

Lazy.

I live in katy, and unless spring woods high school has moved, he never lived in Katy, Texas because he could never have gone to spring woods then.  But katy is a city now, it's a lot bigger than the ones you see on 71 going to/from austin back to it.

Austin, don't make me laugh. HA! Tons more people are going to have to move in from somewhere else before that city can work up the attention span to actually hate.  And I used to live in Katy, we all pretended to live in Houston.  Dayton, well, that's a whole nother story.   Besides, I have quotes, actual citated quotes of goobers from each of the 4 cities detailing their hate.  Including a Canadian.

Lazy.  Canadians don't hate.  They barely feel.  And that you and DV used to live in Katy don't make it a city.  But I've noticed Katianitesoans like to think they live in Houston.  Why is that?  HEY.  YOU CHANGED THE TOPIC ON ME!

I'll say this: when I was young, all katy had was rice fields and I-10 and an area off fry road.   Now you have cinco ranch, seven lakes, etc.  It's actually grown a lot, into a fairly decent sized suburb.

But the fact remains, spring woods is in the dairy ashford area, no way clemens grew up in Katy.

I believe he lived in Katy in the off-season in the mid-late 80's.  At least the Katy urban legend when I grew up was that if you went to his house on Halloween, he gave away autographed baseballs.

That's not a fact.  That's obviously a FACT! Spring Woods is near Spring Branch/Spring Shadows.  Dairy Ashford is at best 7 miles away from Gessner/Hammerly and on the other side of a freeway and a tollway.

That's what I'm going with.  She jams the iPod headphones in her ears so the hearing is starting to go.  Not such a bad thing really, when you consider some of the things you overhear.  But, Pence comes up as she's passing through, and they announce "Hunter Pence" and she says "What? Thunder Pants?"  And I said, "Yes, of course, his mother named him Thunder Pants."

If it makes you feel better, I'll put the "Th" in parentheses. We're all winners here. Which reminds me, I totally airballed an opportunity to reference Mo's "unglasses" in the recap last night. I'd been saving that chestnut for a special occasion, and I blew it.

If I permitted myself the latitude to do such a thing, I'd spend all week making minor grammatical modifications to a series of ridiculous run-on sentences, while vacillating between "shitstain" and "fucktard" as the correct descriptor for booing Reds fans. And while that does sound like a pretty nice life, it would mostly restrict my weekly input to the board to a single, off-the-beaten-path post. Which may well have been your point.

Thunder Pants.
I rather like typing that.

Sorry, stratford is the one closest to dairy ashford, spring woods is right by northbrook which is by hammerly/gessner.   but, none of the spring branch schools are located in the katy city limits.

Major Tom and then El Guapo.  The last one, I couldn't live up to so it had to go.  Unfortunately, slowpoke is incredibly accurate.

Major Tom and then El Guapo.  The last one, I couldn't live up to so it had to go.  Unfortunately, slowpoke is incredibly accurate.

i vote that you pick a name and stick with it. you're confusing me.

You're a lucky lucky man I can't find a youtube clip of Grandpa Simpson taking off his own underwear to prove that the answers to many of life's questions are in your underpants. Then, when the Simpson kids are shocked and want to know how Grandpa took his underwear off without taking off his pants or pulling them down, he answers in a confused old man voice, "I don't know!"
