Nieve
« on: April 29, 2007, 08:24:04 am »
Was removed from the RR game last night in the fifth after chunking two Laloosh-style wild pitches all the way to the backstop. No word yet on what the deal is, but he's evidently headed to Houston for an examination.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

He certainly doesn't seem to be very happy to be there.  But the fact of the matter is that he's not impressing anybody; he's been giving up a lot of hits.

Sounds good.  Are you planning to have Terry Ryan replaced with an imposter?

Giving up too much.  Why do we want Carlos Santana?  Or was this Ervin Santana?

well he better realize if he sulks and lets his performance suffer through sulking, he won't make it back to the show anytime soon.

Jim- did  you say that Luke Scott did this after his first taste of the show?

Guys have to realize that this org cares a whole lot about your attitude- you aren't going to get burier down there, but you can get buried if  you bitch, moan and complain. One of the reasons Albers got the call up, per the radio guys (who knows what kind of insight they have) is that his attitude out of spring training was great and exactly what the org wanted. Nieve, not so much.
