Looks like this will be the pick-off kings like they were last year in SS.

Any word on how the odd schedule will affect the rotation?

Are you thinking of the Appy League rather than the Sally League?

It will be interesting to see how they rotate players at positions.

Norris on DL - Severino up from EST
« Reply #5 on: April 28, 2007, 05:42:52 am »
"The Legends' first player move of the year yesterday sent RHP Bud Norris (0-1, 5.68) to the disabled list and added LHP Sergio Severino from extended spring training. Norris is out because of a right shoulder injury. Severino, a 22-year-old Dominican, led the Appalachian League last year with 90 strikeouts, going 6-3 with a 2.90 ERA in 13 starts for Greeneville."

"Bud Norris, 22, a 6-foot, 195-pound right-hander from Novato, Calif., came off the DL (shoulder) and fired three shutout innings. He gave up a single, no walks and struck out four. He was making his first appearance since May (sic) 23. ... Before the game, the Astros released RHP Cesar Mayora (2-1, 7.36), who worked 142/3 innings over 10 relief outings."
